Today i will be talking about the most hyped drugstore foundation which i wanted to buy for the past 1 year. I was passing this for so long but it is all over instagram and i succumbed to the craze. So, finally i got my hands on it and am i excited to try it? Let’s find out :

My experience with Milani conceal +perfect 2 in 1 foundation + concealer

Packaging: The foundation comes in a sleek glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenses just the right amount needed for the face without there being any wastage. I really love that i can control the amount of product i need. The cap is pretty sturdy as well and closes nicely.

Shade:I bought the shade 04 : medium beige. I have yellow undertones and thankfully, the shade matches me perfectly. It doesn’t look too yellow on the skin. I have seen alot of reviews where people complain of it getting oxidised but i am glad it has not oxidised on me. It doesn’t look orange.

Texture/Consistency : The foundation is a little thick cream foundation which doesn’t drip. It has a slippery texture and despite being thick, it blends like a dream. I use a beauty blender with this foundation and i get a natural flawless finish effortlessly. I have not tried using a brush but i am sure it will give the same kind of finish. It is semi-dewy finish. Its important to moisturise your skin pre-application because this foundation has a tendency to look little cakey or patchy.

Staying power: The foundation stays for good 8-9 hours with regular touching of face and blotting with tissues. Now, Let’s start with its claims, first off being coverage, i agree that it is medium to full coverage. In one layer, it conceals my under eye circles and light pimple marks, for dark spots, we need atleast two layers.

Coming to it being lightweight, i have to disagree because It feels a little heavy on the skin. It’s may be because i am not a foundation person or because it has a concealer in it too. Still, its not a major problem, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. In terms of sweat-proof, it holds up quite well in mild sweating but if you plan to wear it to the gym then it will not hold up well. Also, if you pat your face with tissue paper, a lot of foundation does come off.

Pros of the Milani conceal +Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation + concealer

  • Easy to blend
  • Gives a natural finish
  • Gives a semi-dewy finish
  • Medium to full coverage
  • Covers light imperfections nicely
  • Its buildable
  • Little goes a long way

Cons of the Milani Conceal + perfect 2 in 1 Foundation + concealer

  • Not lightweight
  • Feels a little heavy on the skin
  • Might look patchy if proper moisturisation is not done prior
  • Foundation does come off on patting the face with tissues

Will “theblushcorner” recommend it?

I like the foundation for its coverage. I feel its not a daily use foundation. Its heavy and might block my pores. So i can see me using it for special occasions. I love my L.A Girl BB cream for daily use. I also think that in India the price is little exorbitant. I am glad my friend got it from the US for 11 dollars, otherwise i wouldn’t have paid 1300 INR.

TIP : If you really want to try the foundation for the hype then please get it from the US. Otherwise, i believe there are other foundations doing the same job at a lesser price.

I hope you love the review!
