I was looking for a foundation for the longest time as I was living only on BB/CC creams. So when I ran out of those, I decided to hunt a good foundation. I wasn’t looking for heavy coverage as medium coverage has always being my goal and also decent price. So after a lot of research, I zeroed in on the color bar perfect match foundation keeping the reasonable price in mind. After using it, here are my views on it:

My experience with color bar perfect match foundation with UV filters
Packaging: the foundation comes in a small flat squeeze tube with a shiny silver screw cap with a twist up mechanism. It has a very fine nozzle dispenser so you have control over how much product to take. But in case you take out extra product, you cannot put that back in the tube. It is spillage proof, and travel-friendly.
Fragrance: it has a very chemically smell to it and I hate the smell. though, it goes away within seconds of application.
Shade: I have the shade nude beige (002). The shade selection is very limited; there are only two shades available – classic ivory and nude beige. The shade nude beige is matching to my medium-fair skin nicely, I cannot say it’s a perfect match but it does adapt to my skin tone after sometime. I would say, this shade has some pinkish undertones to it.
Texture/Consistency: The foundation has a very creamy consistency which gives sheer coverage. It covers the minor imperfections nicely, though you need concealer to hide the major ones. The texture is little liquidy but doesn’t feel greasy or oily. It gives a sheer coverage but for that you need to blend it really well. On first application, it looked a little pale yellow on me but after blending and setting, it matched my natural skin color perfectly. It evens out the skin and It doesn’t accentuate the dry patches, or pores. It says oil free, but still I top it over with a compact as in summers, it does become little oily at the end of the day. I have dry to combination skin so oily skin people will also need to apply the powder on top of it. The foundation says that it is moisturizing but it works well only under the moisturized skin, so good primer is a must and also you cannot skip a moisturizer.
Staying power: This foundation doesn’t have a good staying power. It stayed on me for 4-5 hours without any touch-ups. It fades evenly but dullness of the face starts to show after 2 hours of the wear time.

Will ‘theblushcorner’ recommend it?
I am not a fan of this foundation. And this isn’t the best foundation available. I would say this is not a foundation. BB creams work better than this. It is ok for someone who doesn’t need coverage but again for those also, BB/CC creams work best and for much lesser amount. I will not be recommending this to anyone.
